Neighborhoods near light rail

There are dozens of neighborhoods near light rail and they are all well established. Some historic neighborhoods in Phoenix date back to the late 1800's. Most neighborhoods in the light rail community were built between the 1920's and the 1960's. There are approximately 100,000 homes and 250,000 residents within one mile of light rail.

Light rail neighborhoods are experiencing new residential, retail, office and academic development. Infill lots within existing neighborhoods are being turned into new single family homes, townhomes, condominiums and apartments. New restaurants, bars, boutique shops and other small businesses are opening. New office towers are being built to meet the demand for urban office space. New ASU academic buildings and student housing are being built. New residents - having discovered that the light rail community has a lot to offer - are arriving daily.
